Local filmmaker Dan Tabor, who you might know as Geekadelphia's arts and entertainment editor, wants to bring you a short horror film that's "part French New Wave, part Italian Giallo," but first, he needs your help.

Local filmmaker Dan Tabor, who you might know as Geekadelphia‘s arts and entertainment editor, wants to bring you a short horror film that’s “part French New Wave, part Italian Giallo,” but first, he needs your help.

Tabor is raising $4,444 to produce The Woman in Apartment 44, “the story of a troubled woman, whose reality is dissolving around her into a fever dream of death and mayhem, as she copes with her failing relationship.” The project, he said, has been in the works for a year but he has finally found the right people to put the film into production.

Donate here by Sept. 21.

Watch a preview of the film below.

Tabor, 36, lives in Elkins Park and grew up in Hershey, Pa.
