You can bump into the creative class lots of places in Philadelphia, but as one of the largest interactive conferences in the world takes place, we like to bring together a dense collection of us.
That’s why nearly 100 of us cycled through Drink Philly’s Old City headquarters for Technically Philly’s second annual #notatSXSW party. (Last year we threw down at Barcade) Check out Drink Philly’s photos here or others below.
Both years we’ve celebrated in the #whyilovephilly style, bringing together friends from Young Involved Philadelphia, Indy Hall, Geekadelphia and Flying Kite. (And thanks to Reed Gustow for the photos!)
Drink Philly scored two kegs from your friendly neighborhood beer crafters Yards Brewery, including a Brawler and Pale Ale. We might not have tapped the keg correctly the first time, or the second time, but even foamy Yards beer is better than most others.
The point is meant to be to remember how easily you can bump into and meet new inspiring actors in the young creative class of ours. You have friends here.
