Why the video game covers? It’s a tribute to the music from games they loved, said drummer Kevin Ragone.
“We’re all nerds who grew up playing a ton of video games, and still do,” he wrote in an email about the members of Close to Good.
Ragone also said it helps them grow as musicians since most of the music wasn’t meant to be played with traditional instruments.
