In the spirit of the holidays, we present you local band Southwork‘s music video for “Gift of Love,” shot completely on an Android Galaxy phone.
On tenor saxophone is Tony Trovarello (or just plain old Tony Trov) of local web comic fame. The video was shot in deep South Philly, Trov said, “in St. Monica’s neighborhood” — the parish west of Broad, south of Snyder. Trov has been playing with Southwork for about a year and a half but said the band members are all old friends.
