Small business owners across the country are more optimistic now than they were even just in November, according to a survey by the parent company of the Philadelphia Business Journal.
That optimism also comes with a great deal of insecurity about expansion, showing small businesses are battening down for a continued, battering economic climate.

But with that little extra love this Valentine’s Day, maybe it’s time to take your start-up ideas in Philadelphia and put them to good use. It’s always time of peril that bring on innovation.

Small business bosses are more optimistic than they were just after the election. In November, only 37 percent expected their business prospects to get a lot or a little better. In January, 63 percent expected conditions to get a lot or a little better. [Source]
