What’s next for affordable broadband in PA?

The federal Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) ended last week, shifting to a partial subsidy program. It only applies to households that remain enrolled in the program and who use ISPs that choose to continue to participate in the program.

The tech behind this 24/7 cheese dispensary

Perrystead Dairy opened a cheese “dispensary” in the garden outside of its urban production facility in Kensington. The cheesemakers opened the vending machine as an alternative to a retail counter.

The cheese vending machine is surrounded by a guard booth and is moisture and temperature controlled. The payment system is all electronic and customers can use arrow buttons to turn the shelves and browse the cheese offerings.
