Ripken STEM Center coming to Wilmington

Baseball legend Cal Ripken, Jr. and his family launched the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation in Aberdeen, Maryland, to honor his father after his passing in 1999. Since then, the foundation with a mission to help kids through sports has grown substantially, adding a STEM initiative in 2016. It now has 525 STEM Centers and counting. One of the future state-of-the art centers is slated for Wilmington.
