“Interested in transitioning into a career in tech? Not sure what options are available to you? Worried about whether you can succeed in a new area?”
If you answered yes to any of the above, this upcoming Women Who Code DC event is for you. On May 19 at PBS in Crystal City, the group will host an evening of networking and discussions to answer all your questions about launching a career in tech. No word yet on who the panelists will be, but the event page states they’ll be able to share “personal transition stories.”
Women Who Code DC is just one of D.C.’s lineup of groups that support female devs and women looking to learn how to code. Check out this list of six active Meetup groups to learn about the variety of communities that exist.
