To celebrate two years of study groups, classes and events, Women Who Code DC, the D.C.-based branch of the global Women Who Code nonprofit organization, is hosting a hackathon at the end of April.
We are excited to announce the first ever Women Who Code DC Hackathon! April 30 – May 1. Tickets available 4/11! https://t.co/2cVPlB1MKf

The women-in-tech group is calling all D.C.-area women to come and join in for two days of “coding and learning for women of all ability levels and technology interests.” Haven’t written a line of code before? No problem! The hackathon is imagined as a place to learn as well as work on projects.
The event will begin on April 30 with a day of hacking held at Social Tables HQ, and end with a presentation day on May 1 at Iron Yard on 18th Street.
The whole weekend is free, and registration is now open. Be sure to keep an eye on the hackathon hackpad for a growing list of all featured projects and project ideas.
