See how the ‘BambieBotz’ robotics club is getting girls interested in STEM

Last week we brought you this profile of Jeanine Heck and her work mentoring the BambieBotz, the robotics team at St. Hubert’s. (Bambi (the Disney doe) is the mascot of the all-girls Catholic high school in Northeast Philadelphia.)
This week we bring you video of a recent robotics challenge that St. Hubert’s competed in, as well as interviews with Heck and a pair of BambieBotz team members.
“I definitely like the electrical engineering stuff,” said Angela Hampson, a St. Hubert’s sophomore. “Yeah, I might look into that when I’m going to college.”
