Quest, WorkReady Philadelphia‘s new biotech training program for high school students, launched at Thomas Jefferson University last week.

At the event, representatives from partner organizations like the Philadelphia Youth Network, GlaxoSmithKline and The Philadelphia Foundation spoke, said Philadelphia Youth Network spokeswoman Jacqui Seidel. Here are some soundbytes from the event via Seidel:

“Quest opens up new worlds for me and my fellow classmates such as:  new subjects, new career possibilities in the biotechnology industry, the chance to be on a college campus like Thomas Jefferson University, and the chance to meet amazing people, including our Thomas Jefferson University mentors.” – Kayla Hadley, junior at Roxborough High School and Quest participant
