LadyHacks is back for its 4th year

LadyHacks is back for the a fourth year in a row. (Remember the very first one in 2013?)
The hackathon, which aims to welcome more women into the Philly tech scene, is focused on themes of health, wellness and self-care this year.
The event is kicks off Friday at 6 p.m. at Azavea’s new office (990 Spring Garden St.). Tickets cost $15 and all proceeds are donated to Girl Develop It. Cis women, trans, genderqueer, intersex and queer folks who identify as women are all welcome.

Local companies Think Brownstone and Azavea are sponsoring the hackathon, alongside Caviar and sweetgreen.
It’s cool to see the women-in-tech community keep the event going, even though cofounder Tristin Hightower left the city in 2013. See the full team of organizers here.
