Comedian Kevin Hart donates 500 computers to City of Philadelphia

Three hundred laptops will go to eight schools and 200 desktops will go to 27 recreation centers.

Comedian and Philly native Kevin Hart donated 500 computers to the City of Philadelphia.

Comedian and North Philadelphia native (near 15th and Erie) Kevin Hart donated 500 computers to the City of Philadelphia, including 300 laptops, according to a release.

The laptops will go to eight schools and the desktops will go to 27 recreation centers.

Mayor Michael Nutter also launched a crowdfunding campaign for school supplies in September. It raised $531,00.
