This Friday, June 19 — aka Juneteenth, the increasingly observed holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States — you have the chance to attend a 90-minute morning webinar on “Addressing Racism: Advancing Justice in Times of Crisis.”

It’s part of the Women’s Leadership Initiative at University of Delaware’s “Leadership in Times of Crisis” series.

The panel of Black women in business include:

  • Jennifer Joe, Ph.D., Whitney Family Endowed Chair of Accounting and chief diversity advocate at UD’s Lerner College of Business & Economics
  • Daphne McRae, VP of the project management office at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
  • Nicole Jeter West, head of marketing and brand engagement for LA 2028
  • Vina Amankwaa Afrifa, undergrad at UD’s Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics, incoming JPMorgan Chase & Co. summer analyst and incoming Harvard SVMP ’20 participant
