Best Buddies, if you’re not familiar, is a national nonprofit with a mission to “create opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).”
If you plan on heading to the beach this weekend, you can help raise funds for Best Buddies DE by participating in the Buddy Walk at the Dewey Beach Lion’s Club on Sunday from 7–10 a.m., including a free breakfast for participants (available for purchase for guests), a free T-shirt, free beer and free Starboard bloody marys. The beach, free morning cocktails and a good cause? Hard to beat that.
