Members of Girl Develop It’s national team will be in Baltimore this week to talk to anyone interested in getting involved locally.
On Wednesday, April 11, the nonprofit that is focused on providing courses and resources to help women excel in tech careers is hosting a meet and greet at ETC in Highlandtown. The organization is looking to reactivate its Baltimore chapter, which has nearly 1,5000 Meetup members. At the event, leaders will be providing info about becoming a chapter leader, instructor or teaching assistant.
“Come chat with members of the GDI national team, connect with others who have taken or want to take our classes, and learn about about open opportunities,” the event description states. “We will be sharing a little bit about each role (some of us have been chapter leaders, instructors, and teaching assistants with our local chapters!) and will provide the opportunity to ask questions about getting involved in a relaxed setting.”
