General Assembly, the tech and entrepreneurship educational program that has been a major force in New York’s tech scene has expanding in recent years. Now, “the educational institution that transforms thinkers into creators” will be offering its classes in Brooklyn.
Here are some of the first classes listed at the New York Media Center in Dumbo, the location for General Assembly’s Brooklyn offerings:
- Crowdfunding, with DreamIt Ventures Partner Arie Abecassis
- Storytelling, with RISK! podcast founder
- WordPress Intro, with Apple alum
If you don’t like crossing bridges, it doesn’t look like there’s a way to view only the Brooklyn courses on the General Assembly site, yet, but maybe if you join this Education list on the New York Media Center site, you can get the scoop on the nearby courses another way.
