This week’s Black Tech Mixer brings in policy execs from Twitter and Google

The Nov. 3 event offers a chance for some high-powered networking (and a performance by Christen B).

The Baltimore Black Tech Mixer is set for Thursday, Nov. 3, at the Eubie Blake Cultural Center.
The event is organized by Brioxy, a national network of young innovators of color founded by Baltimore resident B. Cole.

“As the number of black engineers and executives in leading tech companies grows, Baltimore has become an incubator,” the event announcement says. “Brioxy intends to connect the talent being fostered in Baltimore with leaders in technology in order to foster a stronger tech network in Baltimore.”
Along with networking, the event will feature guest talks from Twitter policy staffer Adejire Bademosi and Aerica Banks, a patent policy analyst at Google. Plus, Baltimore singer-songwriter Christen B will perform.
