On any given Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the WIN Factory, Wilmington’s first Black-owned coworking space, you’ll find a weekly event called Mastermind Sessions featuring a variety of experts from Delaware and beyond, free for members of Win Factory Wealth League and members of the community (as space allows).
Last week, they launched a three-part Wilmington series, featuring representatives of local agencies giving presentations on how to navigate them as entrepreneurs. Bill Freeborn, executive director of Wilmington Neighborhood Conservancy Land Bank, kicked it off on Wednesday, and two more are scheduled for this month:
- Feb. 5 — Bob Weir, director of the Department of Real Estate and Housing
- Feb. 12 — Jeff Starkey, commissioner of the Department of Licenses and Inspections
