‘International Day of the Girl’ to be celebrated with Oct. 13 leadership conference

Hosted by One Village Alliance, the “Girls Can Do Anything!” Leadership Conference looks to inspire Delaware’s future leaders.

Thursday, October 11 is International Day of the Girl, officially declared by the United Nations in 2011. The celebration of girlhood won’t end there in Wilmington, though, with a full-day girls’ conference on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m at Grace United Methodist Church in Wilmington.
