2 Delaware companies make Entrepreneur 360 list

Well, kinda. One is *that* kind of Delaware company.

Every year, Entrepreneur creates a list of what the magazine consider to be the 360 best small businesses America has to offer. The list is not meant to showcase only companies that are growing really fast (we see you, Inc.) — it’s more of a congratulations to companies “that keep all their parts growing in harmony.” As such, each company on the list has been evaluated according to the metrics of impact, innovation, growth and leadership.
There’s a catch, though: companies are invited to apply, which probably explains why only two Delaware companies made the list. It’s possible that other perfectly qualified companies simply did not apply. Either way, the list includes two companies with First State roots, one you might recognize and another you might not: HelpAround and Hatch House Ventures.

HelpAround appears to be what our cheeky 404 page says.
The health-tech company landed at No. 208 on the 360 list, but the listed address led us to the offices of law firm Pepper Hamilton, LLP, in the Hercules building. It seems like the diabetes-management startup operates fully out of Israel, as both cofounders, Yishay Knobel and Shlomi Aflalo, currently reside there. “PHS Corporate Services is the registered agent for HelpAround but this is not their business address,” said office administrator Michele Daly. This is very Delaware.
Hatch House Ventures, which arrived in Delaware not too long ago and just experienced a bit of restructuring, landed at No. 302 on the list. The company began its journey in Bethlehem, Pa., near Lehigh University, but has since expanded to partner with University of Delaware. Over the summer, founder Steve Boerner announced plans to move into a new location in downtown Wilmington.
