For the first time, the Emerging Enterprise Center will host its own annual luncheon. This event will be separate from the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce annual dinner. As a subsidiary of the New Castle County Chamber, the EEC has historically recognized its achievements at the NCCCC annual dinner. This year, program manager Frank DeSantis says the event will be separate.
“The EEC program has dramatically grown, so this is an opportunity to showcase both the entrepreneurs in the community, through the Video Pitch Competition, and the activities and accomplishments of the EEC,” explained DeSantis.
The luncheon will also include awards for the “Swim with the Sharks” video contest. “Attendees at the luncheon will be shown three finalist videos and they will vote on the winner,” said DeSantis.
The event will be held at World Cafe at The Queen and will kick off at 11:30 a.m on Friday, Sept. 23. Tickets are $50 for members and nonmembers.
