Girl Develop It Wilmington hosted a Super Meetup last night with eight other local groups for a packed session of networking at 1313 Innovation’s coworking space.
(The event has no relation to Technical.ly’s own Super Meetup event series.)

Each of the nine groups in attendance — Girl Develop It Wilmington, First State.Net, Barrel of Makers, Open Data Delaware, Delaware DevOps, Delaware Tech Meetup, New Castle County WordPress Meetup, OWASP Delaware and Delaware Java Users — had a representative to give a brief presentation at the start of the event.

One of the earliest tech meetups featured was Delaware Tech Meetup, organized by Start It Up Delaware back in 2011.

The night was sponsored by JPMorgan Chase and Zip Code Wilmington, which is headed by a new leader who seems to be keeping good on her word for more community outreach.
All in all, the event got people excited about the Delaware tech scene.

It all capped off with what 1313 Innovation community manager Megan Anthony-Keogh calls “a chant for the next #netde super meetup.”
