Wilmington-based incorporation company Corporation Service Company is breaking ground on its new global headquarters just outside the city limits.
The expansion could bring as many as 900 jobs to the area — many of those being tech gigs, according to Gov. Jack Markell. The company currently employs about 950 in Delaware
“It’s one thing to have a beautiful facility,” said Markell. “It’s another thing to have talented people working at that facility.”
Meanwhile, CSC president and CEO Rod Ward has high hopes. Not just for his business, but for the city — the latter, he says, is undergoing a revitalization.
“Our business really is a service company wrapped around a technology company,” Ward said in a report by Delaware Public Media. “And I really see a technology renaissance happening not only in Delaware, but in the region.”
