Springboard Enterprises, a D.C.-based nonprofit and venture catalyst for women entrepreneurs, teamed up with George Washington University’s Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship to host its signature Dolphin Tank program Feb. 24 and 26.
The nonprofit partners with various organizations for its Dolphin Tank event, which is an interactive, feedback-driven pitch competition. This specific GWU edition will feature women entrepreneurs who will pitch their ventures across two days. These women are also a part of the inaugural GWomen cohort, a new program at GWU helping to accelerate women-led student businesses.
The events are free to attend and the session on Monday, Feb. 24, will be hosted at 1776 Lafayette Square from 6 to 8 p.m.
RSVPThe session on Wednesday, Feb. 26, will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Cloyd Heck Marvin Center at 800 21st St. NW, in room 302.

1 Million Cups
This one’s for the early birds: One Million Cups is a free biweekly event series that features one or two entrepreneurs who share specific challenges faced by their company. D.C.-based digital marketing agency The Jonathan Rick Group will be presenting.

Halcyon Incubator Spring Kickoff
The Georgetown-based incubator for social enterprises is welcoming its 12th cohort of entrepreneurs with this event. Halcyon will introduce the ventures, host a fireside chat and give attendees time to network. Complimentary valet will be provided.

StartupYourMorning: Legal Aspects You Need To Know To Raise Funding
DC Startup Week launched this monthly event series back in November to bring entrepreneurs and startup professionals together. This month’s event will focus on sharing lessons on how to start a funding round and properly close one.

George Mason University Cybersecurity Innovation Forum
