Georgetown Entrepreneurship has announced its ninth annual cohort of entrepreneurs-in-residence, with the addition of an expert-in-residence.

The initiative is a part of the university’s McDonough School of Business and acts as a liaison between students with biz goals and the real world of entrepreneurship.

Each year, the residency program welcomes entrepreneurs of various backgrounds, including some Georgetown alumni, to act as mentors and advisors to students. In 2019-2019, 24 professionals will spend the next academic year working with undergraduate and graduate students on Georgetown’s campus who aspire to launch their own ventures.

Jessica Carson, founder of Wired This Way and director of innovation at the American Psychological Association, will serve as the program’s expert-in-residence. In this role, Carson will use her background in startups and psychology to help students on campus better understand how to embark on an entrepreneurial path in the healthiest and best way possible.
