Cybersecurity accelerator MACH37 seeks Fall 2018 applicants

The 90-day program in Herndon, Va., helps early-stage founders build a business.

MACH37 is seeking out cyber companies getting ready for launch.

The Herndon, Va.–based accelerator is opening applications for its fall cohort. Located at the Center for Innovative Technology, the 90-day program is seeking to support 5-7 early-stage founders as they build a business, according to a news release. The fall program opens Sept. 24.

The accelerator is seeking motivated founders who are seeking mentorship and seeking to work with public and private companies in Virginia. MACH37 indicated interest in companies working in fields such as cybersecurity, autonomous vehicles, IoT and industrial controls, among others.

Programming includes a curriculum focused on validating ideas, and launching a product. Each team is also paired with a mentor throughout the program. Teams each receive $50,000 in exchange for 4-percent equity in a company.
