We’re at the beach

It's for team retreat.

We’ll be back on Monday.

Team Retreat is an annual tradition for Technically Media. Even when the company was four people back in 2012, it took over Ocean City, Md. Now the 20-person Technically team is heading to Surf City, N.J. (Hitting the shore isn’t an every year occurrence: the last three retreats have been in rural Pennsylvania.)

Retreat gives us time to bond with members of our distributed team, evaluate the state of the company and chart strategic initiatives — all while enjoying outdoor activities and a cold beverage or two.

We won’t be publishing stories today and tomorrow (to make sure the editorial team can fully participate in retreat activities) but you can follow us on Snapchat (username: technicallym) for updates from the beach.
