Google has found a new way to give back.

The tech giant’s new “digital business coaching” program is coming to nine metro areas across the U.S., including D.C. The idea? “Help empower underrepresented small business owners” by helping them bring their businesses online (for free).

To that end Google has partnered with Walker’s Legacy to launch the D.C.-focused edition of the program. Walker’s Legacy, recall, is a national collective of women of color in entrepreneurship that runs events and programming, including a business accelerator called PROSPECTUS.

The D.C. launch of Google’s Digital Coach Program will take place on May 4 at the new In3 space on Howard University’s campus. Join to hear who the “digital coaches” running the free classes will be and learn more about how you can get involved.
