At 2 a.m., D.C. residents like to order Cheddar Mini Pretzels for on-demand delivery.
This according to data from Philly-born delivery service goPuff which first launched in the District in November 2014. Now D.C. residents can get those pretzels at any time of the day or night — always in 30 minutes (the company boasts) and always for a $1.95 delivery fee.
That’s right — goPuff recently launched 24-hour delivery in D.C. The company’s delivery service was previously available from 12 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., with goBooze alcohol delivery available from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. Now, goPuff customers can get alcohol on demand from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and anything else 24/7. Sweet.
GoPuff prides itself on “replacing the need for convenience stores” — where else can you get a $500 vaporizer and some cat snacks delivered, together, in just 30 minutes? Growing from roots in Philly, the company now operates in 15 markets but delivers 24/7 in just four. Here in D.C., the delivery area is mainly centered in Northwest and Arlington.

GoPuff raised a total $8.25 million Series A last year, a round that has fueled expansion and aggressive marketing. We can’t seem to escape the goPuff bus ads…
