Local incubator 1776 will host the local Challenge Cup pitch contest on Thursday, Oct. 29. High-potential DMV-based startups will be pitching their concepts for a chance to represent the area at the next round of the challenge — the regional competition in New York City.
Local competitions are the first round of this worldwide contest. Over 1,000 startups will compete in 45 cities around the world, all hoping to move on to the next level.
Because the event is organized by 1776, the global finals will take place back in D.C. in February 2016. Technical.ly attended last year’s final back in May.
You can RSVP now to attend the local challenge and see where it all begins.
