Meet Rimsys
Rimsys is a Pittsburgh-based company that specializes in the development of regulatory information management (RIM) software for medical device companies working in an ever-changing world of regulations and healthcare product updates. Using cloud-based software hosted by Amazon Web Services, Rimsys’ RIM platform helps medical device manufacturers keep track of compliances, documentation and other data to make product launches more efficient. In December 2021, it announced a $16 million Series A round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Allos Ventures, Private Opportunities and Pittsburgh’s Innovation Works. The company was cofounded by President James Gianoutsos and CTO Brad Ryba.
