A quick shoutout to our Technical.ly Talent client Chariot Solutions and the company’s new software consultant Jack Lazorchak, who found his job via Technical.ly—as told in our “Day in the Life” content series. We like to take a deep look at how technologists in our communities work every day, and its a part of our annual Talent subscription offering.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Lazorchak started as a pre-med student at the University of Pittsburgh but eventually switched to computer science. After graduation, he worked for a company focused on artificial intelligence and human avatars as well as a healthcare-based startup. He gained a lot of experience in the Spring Framework, in particular.

When Lazorchak and his girlfriend decided to move closer to family in Philadelphia, he put feelers out for jobs in the City of Brotherly Love. One friend suggested he check out Technical.ly Philly, where he discovered a senior Spring Framework developer position at Chariot Solutions.

“Before I was hired, I had a call with the CEO, Mike Rappaport, and it felt to me like Chariot had everything that was missing from the previous startups I had worked at,” Lazorchak said. “A lot of them felt like just give relationships. At Chariot Solutions, it feels like a true give and take.”

We’re always excited when our Talent clients, like Chariot, and our jobseeking readers, like Jack find great matches with one another.

Read on for more about Lazorchak’s journey and how he works each day.
