In absolute terms of IT job openings, Baltimore isn’t seen as a top 10 market, though its ratio of openings to qualified candidates tells another story.
Though Baltimore may be getting lost in this infographic from Bright Labs because of the density of the East Coast, it’s worth noting that the broad corridor there is a dense one for tech employment.

We’ve heard that Baltimore is the country’s hungriest IT hiring region particularly in cybersecurity and even app development, but it’s worth noting that Northern Virginia is still seen as a denser hub (And recognizing that IT job growth is growing more slowly here than elsewhere).
