For all the talk of transit problems in New York there is one mode of transportation rarely used, and it’s the most visible of them all: buses.
For those interested in how bus travel can be improved and what role it will play in New York City’s transit future, Bushwick mapping startup CARTO will host a happy hour July 25 called Buses, Beers and Bytes.
“Hear from leading voices in the effort to upgrade New York City’s bus network and get a behind-the-scenes look at some of the solutions that can help make buses faster and more reliable,” according to the event’s invitation.
RSVPThose experts will be:
- Lela Prashad, CEO and Cofounder at NiJeL
- Tabitha Decker, Director of Research & NYC Program Director at TransitCenter
- Natasha Saunders, Riders Alliance member-leader
