The Biden administration is gearing up for some big policy changes.

Accordingly, Delaware Sen. Chris Coons will be spending a virtual breakfast with DelawareBio members and other interested Delawareans to discuss topics such as the new administration, Democratic control of the U.S. Senate, COVID-19 policy, intellectual property protection and domestic manufacturing.

The Tuesday, Feb. 16, event will be a conversation from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and will include a Q&A session. Non-members of DelawareBio may attend for a fee.

DelawareBio regularly engages with legislators on issues that impact the state’s bioscience industry. That includes advocating for state-STEM education and workforce development programs, and the allocation of the governor’s budget funds for bioscience innovations, as well as engaging with the development of public policy related to the industry.
