If you’re a woman interested in running for public office but don’t know where to start, Ready to Run Delaware, hosted by Delaware ERANow in partnership with Mary Ann’s List, is a two-hours-per-week, six-session course of nonpartisan political training.
Sessions are led by Delaware political leaders, who will train women in campaign strategy, fundraising, media, navigating the party system, and laying the groundwork for public life.
Alumnae include State Sen. Laura Sturgeon, State Rep. Kendra Johnson and New Castle County Councilwoman Dee Durham.
The sessions will be held at Widener University Delaware Law School on Concord Pike in Wilmington beginning Sept. 16 and running through Oct. 16. There is a $100 program fee.
