OpenDataCincy, a data library using Azavea‘s Open Data Catalog platform, launched this summer. It’s the third city to adopt and launch the platform, which was originally built for Philly open data portal OpenDataPhilly. The platform has reached other cities largely though Code for America‘s local networks.
(While the Code for America site says that Open Data Catalog has been launched in Reno, N.V. and Chattanooga, Tenn., the sites don’t appear to be live. But Open San Diego is live here.)
As for OpenDataPhilly, its future is at a crossroads, as there have been multiple changes at AxisPhilly, the nonprofit that runs the site. Read more about that here.
