Next week is Global Entrepreneurship Week, and there’s no better time for the topic of the 2020 election and how it will affect entrepreneurship in Delaware.
Moderated by Troy Mix, associate director of the University of Delaware’s Institute for Public Administration (IPA), the one-hour Zoom panel “Election 2020 and the Future of Entrepreneurship + Innovation in Delaware” will feature four from the state and national innovation ecosystems:
- Ariel Gruswitz, director of innovation, Delaware Prosperity Partnership
- Denita Henderson, associate state director, Delaware Small Business Development Center
- Bill Provine, president and CEO, Delaware Innovation Space
- Jason Rittenberg, policy and development director, State Science & Technology Institute
The free webinar will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 12 p.m. and will focus on reviewing the current federal policy landscape for science and innovation and what may change with the new administration, as well as discussion of priorities for the state’s entrepreneurs and overall economic development.
If you can’t make it to the live webinar, it will likely be translated into an episode of the First State Insights, the weekly podcast produced by Mix, Sean O’Neill, and Sarah Pragg of the IPA.
