The flu shot map uses data that the city made more developer-friendly than it was one year ago, when developer James Bentley made a flu shot map (it’s no longer up) using data that Headd had scraped and posted on BuzzData. The city has now officially released the data and it’s available in API format on GitHub, the developer platform on which the City of Philadelphia is the most active city government of any U.S. city.
