BaltimoreCode.org officially launched Wednesday, which means that you can now view Baltimore’s City Charter by individual article instead of scrolling through one PDF document, as Technically Baltimore reported.
As cofounder of the OpenGov Foudation, which created BaltimoreCode, Seamus Kraft was instrumental behind converting the city’s law code from PDF into XML format. According to Kraft, establishing BaltimoreCode.org makes Baltimore the first “open law city” in the U.S.
