Ujo thinks the blockchain can change the way the music industry is run and it may have just gotten a real shot at demonstrating it.
Vice’s Motherboard has a nice Q&A with a popular DJ, RAC, who’s putting his next album up for sale on the blockchain through Ujo.
“To release EGO, RAC partnered with Ujo Music, a platform owned by Consensys, the largest ethereum development company,” the article reads. “Ujo made headlines in 2015 for partnering with Imogen Heap for a single that was distributed on the platform and paid for using the ethereum blockchain.”
The whole thing is worth a read.
