Startup consultant and digital art gallery cofounder Tom Critchlow has some thoughts on content. Critchlow presented a talk at SearchLove in San Diego.

A few quick takeaways from the presentation are that content is big business in 2017. So big, in fact, that Buzzfeed’s Tasty videos are averaging 1.5 billion views a month. These days it seems every company needs to invest in content to connect with their customers and get eyeballs.

Critchlow and his partner, Erin Przekop, are cofounders of the digital art gallery Fiercely Curious. Before that he worked at Google. He’s also a bit of a Facebook tinkerer.
