Mikulski bill would fund Naval Academy cybersecurity center

The senator seeks $120 million to fund the center in the fiscal 2015 budget.

U.S. Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) filed a bill last week seeking $120 million for a cybersecurity hub in Annapolis.
Her bill, introduced Thursday, would fund the creation of the Center for Cyber Security Studies at the Naval Academy, according to theĀ Baltimore Business Journal.
Mikulski has long been an advocate for cybersecurity jobs. In February, as Technical.ly Baltimore reported, she secured $15 million for a cybersecurity center in Rockville.
