Philly Startup Leaders (PSL) has opened applications for the inaugural idea-stage cohort of its recently rebranded accelerator, Founded in Philly.
The accelerator has been running since 2014 and previously only hosted entrepreneurs who have already started their companies. It’s still doing that each fall — but now, PSL is also inviting 20 to 30 aspiring founders who need some help fleshing out their biz ideas with advice from seasoned entrepreneurs while working alongside peers.
The new program, dubbed Series I, will run on Tuesdays evenings for 12 weeks from February through April and cost $250. Participants will be invited to table at PSL’s Entrepreneur Expo during Philly Tech Week. Apps are open until Nov. 15.
On June 1, Founded in Philly will open up applications for it’s next cohort of early-stage startups (aka Series II). This program will support current founders with a minimum viable product in building a sustainable company.
Founded in Philly’s rebrand was announced back in August, when the nonprofit also launched a new website and shared plans for an IRL resource center.
If you’re looking to get down with PSL, the nonprofit will be hosting a launch party on Monday, Oct. 7, at Location 215. Register here.
Add to the list of things I'm proud of… Let's get these ideas off the ground!! https://t.co/GKmvTASfZm
