Philly Tech Week is back yet again to celebrate all of the tech and innovation brewing in Philadelphia, and with it comes another year of the official PTW after-parties curated by events and marketing agency REC Philly.

In partnership with Technical.ly, REC has thrown the after-parties for the past three years, and we’re excited to announce the official plans for 2019. Similar to last year, there will be three unique events that will feature live entertainment, drinks and good vibes to provide a space to loosen those ties and let the hair down. [Editor’s note: You don’t actually have to wear ties to our events. Promise.]

This year, the official after-parties are made possible by the folks at Roundtrip, Scalefactor, Wildbit and Arcweb Technologies, and the drinks will be flowing from our friends at Two Robbers, Lagunitas and Naked Grouse. Thanks!

So, here’s the official lineup:

1. Kickoff Festival

Following the Kickoff Festival at Linode in Old City on Friday, May 3, we’re going to take a walk down 3rd Street in to the office of Arcweb, which will be converted into a speakeasy-meets-lounge setting for the night.

Drinks will be on tap and music will be provided by DJ Sylo.

2. Introduced by Technical.ly

Next up, following the happy hour after Introduced conference on Thursday, May 9, we’re going to keep the party going at Mission Taqueria at 15th and Sansom streets. Drink specials will be provided and Joshua Lang will be on the decks.

3. Signature Event

Lastly, following the (sold out!) Signature Event at the new Comcast Technology Center, we’ll be celebrating the conclusion of #PTW19 at Franky Bradley’s in Center City. DJ Royale will be on the 1s and 2s so make sure to tighten those shoes and to say “PTW” at the door — this will surely be a crowded affair.

Oh yeah, all events are free for PTW attendees. Ya welcome.

Any questions after the parties? Feel free to send a note to dave@recphilly.com.
