Radnor-based private equity fund NewSpring Capital participated in a $12 million round for Verisma, a Syracuse-based health IT company, according to a release. NewSpring invested $5 million. It declined to disclose its primary ownership.
The investment came from NewSpring’s dedicated healthcare fund, NewSpring Health Capital.
The firm invested alongside Richmond, Va.-based Blue Heron Capital and Jim Crook, the Vermont-based former president of IDX Systems Corporation.
