Max Lock, a recent Radnor High School grad, launched his startup at TechCrunch’s annual Disrupt conference this week.
Lock, 18, is the CEO of Shipstr, which he described as the “Expedia of cargo shipping.”
His startup lets businesses that are importing from overseas make shipping arrangements without a freight broker, get price quotes and track their shipments, TechCrunch reported.

It’s not clear if Lock will return to Philadelphia to run his business (his LinkedIn lists San Francisco as Shipstr’s headquarters).
Before Shipstr, Lock ran an all-natural ice cream company that’s now sold at Whole Foods, a tech consulting firm called MediaSpork and a paper and plastic manufacturer and distributor for the frozen yogurt industry.
