The company, which left Philadelphia for Mountain View, Calif. just a few months after its founding, was recently acquired for an undisclosed amount by Fundable, a Columbus, Ohio-based equity crowdfunding platform, TechCrunch reported. Founded by formerĀ Philly Startup Leaders president Jameson Detweiler, LaunchRock helps startups with launch and acquire customers.

When he left Philly in 2011, Detweiler said it was the right thing to do for his business.
