Will and Brigitte Daniel of Wilco Electronic Systems, one of the country’s last remaining black-owned cable operators, will be honored at tonight’s National Association of Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) award ceremony.
The father and daughter pair, who run the Fort Washington-based three-and-a-half decade old cable operator that serves low-income Philadelphians, will receive the NAMIC Philly chapter’s Legacy Award. The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. at Le Meridien in Center City. Get tickets here.
Brigitte Daniel was also recently named one of Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown‘s “Next Generation of Leadership,” an award created to celebrate professional women.
